Where's the inovation.
What if jumping castles were placed around the ground and landing the ball in the jumping castle was worth 10 runs.

Also waterslides should be part of the game. For every 6 a batsman hits they get a go on a waterslide and a chance to earn more runs by pulling off stunts on the slide.

A castle is worth 2 goes on the waterslide

Has started already, few games in, Have seen some scorecards on cric info.

Mainly pommies playing (doah!!), few kiwis there, one or two WIs, and Lynsannity is there is one of the squads

Really no interest in it. Will randomly peek at scorecards every so often

It’s shiny and new and gives the Poms something to watch for their five seconds of summer as they cast of their Covid lockdown shackles and forget Boris is their PM.

Watched some match highlights on YouTube - Rockets v Super Chargers, wherever they are both from. There was some cricket hidden between the graphics.

Very tactical format. The fielding team needs to use its velocity point to trigger a feature. Then if the are deemed to be living life to the extreme they’ll be given a bonus ball. But this all needs to be achieved before the power surge runs out.

Players should level up is the game progresses and unlock perks.
A batsman who scores 10 runs could level up and ever 4 hit is worth 5.
At 20 runs the batter levels up again and 6's become 8's.

A bowler who concedes under 10 runs an over levels down and the first ball of every over (or whatever it is) is an automatic no ball. We want high octane maximums afterall.

Is this comp still going whilst poms playing test cricket?

copying what we do in our summer, squeeze the lemon. Wonder if its a ratings bonanza?

Atherton and Hussain both airing their grievances regarding lack of first class cricket and a cluttered test and tiddlywinks calendar. Sounds very familiar.

Overall the rule changes and gimmicks didn't really have a big change on the game. One rule I did really like was that slow over ("fives") rates resulted in fielding team being allowed one less player outside the circle. Pace of the game was better as a result. Too many T20 games drag on for nearly 4 hours.
