I was surprised that Luke Covell wasn't goalkicking today.

I remember him being an excellent goalkicker a season or two ago.

Brett Hodgson is a bit up and down when it comes to kicking.

Yeah it was great to see Luke reap the rewards this week, he's unsung when it comes to player giving raps, he's not a flash winger but damn his combo with Marshall in looking very , very dangerous.

The reason luke isnt kicking is because with Pat Richards back in a month or so, he's likely to come back in once his fitness is up. That leaves Hodgson kicking goals still so there in my thoughts is the reason Brett has been kicking and not Luke.

You make 2 salient points here Pete.....Covell and Bunji look dangerous alright,he went within a whisler of scoring about 5,dont worry about three.On his kickiing,I am frsutrated that Covell isnt doing it,Hodgo will never be better than a 70 percent man.But I agree with you,I think Shens knows in a motn or two Richards will have that wing spot and Im guessing that he doesnt want to take the kicking off Hosgo and then give it back to him a month later........

Anyway,great to see Luke have a big game,Ive been a bit worried aout his form lately and he had a blinder.

when richards comes back.. i wouldnt mind seeing covell in the top side still.. but where.. as a backrower off the bench? or possibly even in the centres..
