Gold Coast are a poor side however i expect a committed showing. They have a very good record up there against the Tigers. Even last year when they were shocking they scratched out a win over us.

I expect this to be a pretty even contest. Tigers by 4

We had that kind of game in the GC last year.

Looked all over them early and went on to lose in a really uninspiring performance

The only positive I can find from yesterday is that if we won 31-0 the media would be going off about how the tigers are back etc when in reality we've played the 2 worst teams in the comp and still been uninspiring. Hopefully it made them realise we are still a mile off being decent

Doubt it though...

I reckon with no Scott Price, the 2 young halves for the Titans will be out to prove something. They have nothing to lose, so I expect to see some free flowing (read: mistake ridden) footy. This has the potential to be the longest knock-on-a-thon in the history of Rugby League.

Titans by 8.

Titans by 4. Tigers n the back 12 against us were terrible really. it just shows that they arn't up to it this year. a team like the Titans can beat them

Gee that makes me want to pick the Titans.

Although with Prince, Sezer and Zillman out they don't look much better

While what you were saying about the Tigers being terrible in the last 12 minutes may be true, it's quite easily fixable.

Remember, take away that last 12 minutes and the Tigers win quite convincingly 31-0. Nobody would be having this discussion.

Anyways, that is not the case right now but it is easily an attitude problem where the Tigers just took the foot off the pedal, but to a major extent.

Every Tigers fan and their dog would know that the Tigers like to blow a huge lead coming towards the end of a game,
I could list you a few but maybe not as severe as that Parra game.

It's no use writing the Tigers off just yet.
Remember 2005, 2009 (to a lesser extent where we won about 7 in a row near the end), 2010 and 2011 all had late season charges towards the finals.

And finally, this is a game where the Tigers should win, but they'll make it hard for themselves as usual. Tigers just.
