Yesterday could be a turning point in our season. Oh wait we play manly this week whom we have an all time success rate of 30% against.

Roosters for the surprise win at home. Played well v Tigs & if they keep that up could get up in this.

Manly are to us what we are to the Tigers... not really confident of this one despite a good 60 min performance against Tigers.

We'll have a disrupted week to training this week with the Perrett/Mitchell circus. Manly to continue their winning run against us.

Would have picked the Roosters if Manly had won on Monday night.

Tough to pick against the Eagles when they're trying to avenge a loss.

Manly think pink for Women In League

Thursday 21 June 2012 4:39 PM

The Sea Eagles will join thousands of players wearing pink socks to honour Women In League and help in the fight against breast cancer when they run out against the Roosters at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

The McGrath Foundation's pink footy socks have sold-out across the country, raising over $100,000 to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses over the past month.

While several NRL clubs will play in pink jerseys for this weekend's Women In League round, including Manly's opponents the Roosters, the Sea Eagles are the only NRL team to slip on socks for the cause.

Manly winger and McGrath Foundation ambassador David Williams isn't playing this weekend because of injury, but he's not one to miss an opportunity to dress up, having dyed his famous beard pink in the past.

He met with the ladies of the Forestville Ferrettes to show off the stylish socks and do his part to thank the women of league for their invaluable contribution to the game.

The Sea Eagles encourage all our fans to support and salute Women In League this weekend by wearing pink while watching, whether you're at home or at the ground.

The NRL will be auctioning off a plethora of pink jerseys and boots after the round to raise funds for the McGrath Foundaiton and other club charities.

Check NRL.com or mcgrath-foundation.com.au to see how you can help.

Might be chance if T Rex plays but DCE will struggle without Stewart on his outside. He's had a bit of a shocker this year and when he gives the ball early to Stewart it takes a lot of pressure off him, I just hope the ball gets out to Lyon with a bit of space.
