I fear the Broncos less so I hope they win. Will NQ choke or get robbed (depending on your point of view) yet again?

Cowboys should win and win rather well. If there is any game this weekend that will be anything of a landslide, it's this one.

We'll probably need one of those once a month efforts to get up here.

But if we do end up being fodder for our northern bro, then at least there's a worthwhile bandwagon to jump on for week 2 and beyond.

This will be a lot closer than most will think. I think the result will be within 10 easily.

It would have to be closer than I think....even the great supercomputer Deep Thought taking seven and a half million years could not calculate a number so huge as what I think the Broncos will lose this match by.

No one expected us to make the finals and no one gives us a chance in this game. We have nothing to lose and will play accordingly.

On the other hand Cows are raging favorites and have everything to lose. This is their best chance at a title in years. Will they feel the burden of pressure and choke ? Time will tell.

Broncos just making up the numbers. Luckboxed their way in like they've luckboxed most shit this year. Bottom 4 side in the 8 because of luck.

Cowboys are the form team in the comp should do it easy at home.

Surely Hunt can't have a day like he did in his last outing.

The Cows should be focused and on song for this battle of Queensland.

But if the Broncos get an even share of football, and with the wild man from Borneo coming back after a weeks suspension, could surprise.

But with reality, and the Cows forward pack, makes me tilt just slightly towards to Cows in an entertaining and thrilling encounter.

If the Cows do get done,in the 2nd week of the finals it'll be like "they've gone out early!".

But I doubt that will be the case this time around.

One things for sure. Whichever team loses fans will jump on the other team for the finals series.

Qld 'derbies' are pathetic

Donkeys have benefited from a draw that was even easier than Penriff's to sneak into 8th spot. Will be easy meat for a vastly superior Cows team.

Brisbane fans might get on our bandwagon if we win but there would be very few IMO going the opposite way if Brisbane jagged a win here. QLD derbies pathetic? Considering the suncorp games have crowds from 42-52k over the last 9 years, you can thank us for propping up the crowd averages for the rest of the comp.

You would hope that a state of 4.7mil people that share 3 teams could attract decent crowds

I'm talking about their non existent 'rivalry'

For instance the last time the cows beat Brisbane In a semi the broncos released a statement saying they're throwing their support behind the cowboys for the rest of the season...rivalry indeed...

Oh yeah cause it really makes sense for Brisbane to publicly support a NSW club over a QLD one.

Did they do that in 2012?

They did it in 2004 but I didn't know if they did it again.

As for me I can't stand the Broncos. Wouldn't support them at all.

Even if some fans follow each as their second team, I think that increases the rivalry not decreases it.
