We are comfortably the lesser side on paper, so we need to do everything perfectly. So many bad knock ons in that half, and there is no excuse for that. Thankfully, the Roosters are currently as bad.

19 errors in the first half. Defense needs to take some credit for that as both sides have put a lot of pressure on the passers whenever either side has spread it wide. Still a lot higher than what you'd expect from these two teams though.

Penrith are in this if they hold the ball, their go forward is pretty good. The Rorters look sharp at times but not great with Piss quiet. SBW looks dangerous everytime he touches it.

Top half of footy. Actually looked like a finals game with plenty of big hits, forced errors, and lots of intensity.

I feel like we are going to go up a gear in the second half and Penrith look like they are ready to go with us. Panthers may regret not scoring more points from the glut of possession they had on our line in the opening 15 though.

Dear god, how shit are the Roosters? Refs gifting them opportunity after opportunity yet only have one try on the board. If Penrith keep it together and if they're able to keep the score close, they'll get home.

Lol.... well of course they will. Same f**king side on even more coin.. why wouldn't they .

This year the Roosters were mediocre for a good half of the season, then things start to click and they get an arsey minor premiership. When was the last time a team won the minor prem with 8 losses?- don't think ever.

They're lucky that the other teams aren't that great but I don't think they're really that good to deserve back to back. Nothing like the Broncos of 92-93

We probably have too many outs so we'll need to be damn good to win this. But if we had Peachey, Cartwright, Wallace etc I'd have been confident v the Rorters.

Roosters getting some good calls there, but what else did we expect. They've been offside pretty much every tackle and the Panthers have gotten one penalty for it. Moylan gets tackled in the air and it's a changeover, SBW knocks on and it's play on. Geez.

Roosters feel like they're rolling along at 1st gear. Get a few coffee's into em and they'll wake up and take this.

Rooster's defence has been very good. Ours has been messy at times but effective.

Errors make it a bit hard to be too impressed though. We just haven't looked troubling.

Don't expect to win this, but we should be putting in a better 2nd half performance.

Inexperience and panic from the Panthers at crucial points of that half.

No need to push passes,no need to try to be over creative.

Our defense is pretty sound when you have the Roosters at only 1 try for the half.

Either the Roosters will roll over us when they complete more of their sets,or we will sneak in by a couple of points.

But if anything, the experience of the Roosters should get them over, but at the same time, the Panthers are putting in a heroic effort.

We'll do well to win this.

Yes the Roosters don't have to rely on Shayne Hayne ( let's face it he should have got the CC Medal last year) they seem to have a growing list of sympathetic wearers of pink.

Was expecting an entertaining game, not a derpathon. Panthas better lift, cos Roosters guaranteed will...

2005 - Eels on F/A over Dragons

Dragons won back to back MP's on 38 points so that's only one loss less.

No they're not the same as the 92-93 Broncos, but if the MP's don't deserve to win the comp then really, who does?

Rorters think they just have to turn up to win, just annoying that duds like Smith might spoil our hopes. Of course we're not expected to win but I'd love to beat the cap Rorters.

A team under the cap ;)
