We are about to get a massive reality check...although to be fair I don't think anyone at the tigers have got ahead of themselves

This Year?

After the masterclass display at Campbelltown against the competition heavyweights St George, I expect nothing less than a Tigers victory.

Hopefully another classic encounter between these two teams. Just about everytime we play them it seems to be entertaining.

With the Tigers good start to the year you'd expect a bigger crowd than last Sunday. Should be an entertaining match between two attacking sides.

Reciprocal rights access for Tigers ANZ members too. Should be a good crowd.
I'll say 30k+ if it doesn't piss down rain.

Apart from tedesco our attack has been fairly bland this year. I hope I'm wrong but I really think souths will do a number on the tigers this week. We've been scratchy at best against the 2 worst teams in the comp. Even last night most other teams would have beaten us.

With taupau and sue moving into the starting side we haven't been getting the impact from our bench we were getting last year, particularly early when he beat up souths and manly. When woods, Galloway and taupau go off I gravely fear what this souths pack will do to us.

Souths are looking slick, fast and confident. The tigers are looking committed but clunky and still unsure of themselves. I'm tipping souths 34-12

I thought the same this time last year and the Tigers embarrassed Souths. So I'm not going to be cocky. We should account for the Tigers comfortably but if the players go into the match thinking that they'll be in for a rude shock.

Last years probably a little different. We had bodene Thompson, Fulton and Blair starting and playing well. Then taupau, sue, Ava and gavet coming on and causing havoc off the bench. Whilst sironen, sue and taupau have proved capable and good starting forwards. Santi, halatau and lodge haven't been bringing the impact we had last year.

Souths by 13+

Tigers were good in patches last night but really should've put the foot on the pedal and really smacked Dragons instead got sloppy. Shut Tedesco down you shut Wests down imo
