Fox commentators saying NQLD look tired. Thought both teams looked buggered in the last 20 mins

Green didn't bring on his big 3 from the bench until the final 15 minutes according to Brandy.

Thats when the rest of the Cows team pepped right up in the final stages of the match.

Fantastic game, the errors in that first half set the Cowboys back but they comeback from way worse. It's nice to see Broncos/Cowboys grow into a legitimate rivalry as it was lopsided in the Broncos favor til the Cowboys first win in 04 during the finals.

From the moment, it slowly grew into what it is today a close, competitive, thrilling rivarly perhaps at the moment the best in the NRL. Over time, I see the Cowboys slowly closing the gap in wins against the Broncos are the rivalry progresses and evolves.

Yeah right, Thurston did it all when they were down 18-6 (9 Comms). He even had the foresight to pass to Coote who kicked for himself and scored.

Go on Green find something to whinge about. I'm sure he will, I don't mind the Cowboys but Green sooking is starting to give me the shits. You know when they lose or about to play a big team.

you must really hate Bennett then

Awesome game, as soon as the Cows started rolling through the Broncos it was like that scene out of raging bull where everything goes into slow-mo. I knew the Broncos goose was cooked. Just too much quality in the Cows side, even when they're off their game they'll find a way to compete, nothing but respect for them.

Couldn't be prouder of the Broncos either. Yes, it hurts to lose when you're 12 points up but to lose four players mid-game against a team like the Cowboys and compete until the final minute is huge.

I get the feeling we haven't seen the last clash between these two for the year. They'll meet again and it may even decide the season. Cronulla and Melbourne will have something to say about that but they'll be up there.

It's amazing to me how when the narrative starts all the other commentators and article writers just jump on the back of it without stopping and thinking for themselves if they actually believe it. Thurston kicked the winning field goal, sure, but it was pretty regulation and he didn't have a great game aside from that, I bet by his standards he would admit it was basically a par game for him. His defence was atrocious. Yet suddenly he apparently had an unbelievable game.

So he should.

Boyd has been in great touch and did well in difficult conditions.

JT, GI and Oates...hmmm...could be worst you could be gun-ho for Pearce, Dugan and Hopoate.
