I don't think we can go anywhere near winning a comp unless one of our halves starts to manage and close out games a lot better, they're clearly still learning their craft and are being carried by our experienced pack

Hunt in particular needs to learn to kick a field goal

I think he can, he just needs to fix his kicking game and he'll be top class. I remember he played a few games for Australia of the bench and was really good.

You are rating the wrong half, Milford will be rep quality but Hunt is slight above average at best.
I rated Hunt too but in a game like that, i think Bennett will have to wonder.

Milford I think is the benefactor of having an all star line up around him. Hunt on the other end stood up for the Broncos during their years of misery.

Take your humility as an opposition fan and stick it up your ass, only salty bitter merkins allowed in this thread

wow, someone's mad. Not sure what your problem is, any team with the amount of players you had out would have struggled to win tonight.

edit: yeah, blame it all on your halves when your forwards were f*cked after the first 30min of the game. Nice job.

But its Milford that sparks most of the plays for the Broncos:?
Hunt is good when hes good but he's not stepping up to the plate when his team needs him.
Milford is very hyper and only 21 but Hunt is like 24/25, he should be more clutch i think.

Great win, really proud the Tigers did it without Woods and Teddy. Ballin coming on changed the course of the game. His service was impeccable and helped the halves get into gear.

Here's hoping JAC remains in the team from here on in. Young bloke with massive talent and enthusiasm is just what this team needs.

I just don't get it, they lose two games, one against the premiers, the other with half of their side out, and suddenly it's the end of the world. Give me a break. You'll be there at the end, no two ways about it.

What can you do. We f**ked up with dugan and carney thats on us (also ferguson). Milford was always going to be tough to keep because of his roots in brisbane. Cant cry over lost talent

Hunt is 26 and has played 150 games. He's probably hit his ceiling. He's a good player, if not always cool under pressure. But he's unlikely to develop into a superstar from this point

Speaking of which, pretty positive game for the Tigers halves. Still a bit to work on (that patch in the first half where their kicking game was woeful) but they seem to fight through to play some good footy, linking up together, generally controlling the game well. Compared to a couple of weeks ago Brooks was taking the line on a lot more

So we've still kicked the most field goals this year.. but we have lost 3 games by a point.

Probably should try kicking one in a close game.
