Cows beat us at home around SOO time last year, though to be fair we had more out than they did....but still had our 'star' halves.

Sounds like Coote will be overlooked for Origin and they'll put on the 16 or so needed to beat us.

Yep .
We will get beaten here .
JT
Scott
Tamou
Morgan

Lost our halves & our props

Plus possibly Cooper & Coote

Without even seeing your side I'm not confident we can beat the cowboys.

Who plays in the halves? Do you move coote if he's available?

Coote will run riot against us. Jason T will tear our forwards a new one.
Can't see us winning this.

im guessing hannant and bolton will start up front, spina and hess come in. Bowen to replace o'neil, coote to 6 and maybe gideon-mosby to fullback. Not sure about the 7 though, i know thompson came back from injury in the qld cup just recently.

Is a tall ask but not an impossible one, just dont expect much free flowing attack with the defence getting us over the line if it does happen. Still had morgan steering the side around last year when we won this fixture.

Thanks mate. Good info.

I have this feeling that cooper is going to tear us a new one. Think he's been unlucky for a long time to not play origin. May have a point to prove.

Actually very happy with that lineup to be honest, obviously the halves are an unknown but the backline is almost untouched and i dont mind that forward pack at all. A lot more confident with this game than i was 24hrs ago.

Origin-effected games I'm not concerned whether they win or lose providing they put in 100% and the call-ups step up to the plate it be all good. The NRL must be the only comp to severely hurt the competition like this, it's unfair but it's part of the game just go to deal with it and just hope for the best during the origin period.

The Cowboys pack still looks strong to me. Hannant and Bolton are both very good players.

The back row is untouched.

The bench looks good.

The backs look good.

Ray Thompson has got good NRL experience.

I guess it depends what Benji turns up.

Cowboys by 4 as they have St George covered everywhere except the halves.

if hannant and bolton aren't there to hold the fort when the test props go off and do a terrific job of eating the metres it then we don't win the premiership last year, simple as that. They will do their job.
