Yeah we've only played 1 top 4 side and were comprehensively belted by the Sharks. I think we'll make the 8 but are a long way from bothering the Top 4.

The Raiders are still finding their feet as a footy-side. After missing both their halves at the start of the season and a bunch of injuries and personnel changes it was always going to take time to settle. So far their performances have relied on the quality of the opposition and a few talents taking it upon themselves to get the Raiders over the line. When the game was there to be won, the Raiders went into overdrive and looked as good as any side so far this year.

They should only get better, just a question of whether some players ever truly change their stripes.

Sets up a big game next week. Brisbane look to be struggling for mine - received a reality check from the Sharks and haven't had a chance to recover. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Raiders get them and go on a run.

A fair assessment. The Panthers might have been able to dispute that but blew it last match. This Raiders side does need to play for 80 minutes, though, and stronger opponents than tonight might give a better idea of where they're going. Next week in Brisbane will be a good match and a good gauge.
