we are in trouble here lol.

Basically the raiders have had some of the less fancied packs go up the middle with ease. The bulldogs are going to be making metres for fun. The raiders will have to improve line speed by about a million percent.

If we get Sezer back then we might win a shoot out if the bulldogs randomly decide to forget how to defend for the night but i dont have a lot of faith in our point scoring as is or our ability to defend in the forwards.

Basically everyone in the Raiders side needs to really be on. We need Sezer back to keep Hodgson at hooker and uhh hope for some kind of miracle turnaround with defence. line speed, line speed, line speed.

Yeah this wont be pretty, we should have Sezer back by then but i dont expect to be able to beat a side like the dogs unless we're at our best and we wont be at our best until Austin is back.

I really do hope that Sezer is back.

At the moment the side is entirely carried by Hodgson. Williams has been massively disappointing considering he is auditioning for a gig at another club for next year. He has backup half written all over him now.

What makes matters worse is that Ricky will move Hodgson from hooker (where he is very good) to 5/8th (where he is not so good). Weakening our strongest position to fill a gap because old sammy isnt stepping up.

Sezer and Sammy means that Hodgson can stay at hooker.

Yeah, completely agree
Getting Sezer back would be huge for those reasons, allows Williams to play the role as secondary half and Hodgson to stay at hooker for the entire game which will improve our 2nd halves dramatically.

It's a shame we blew the Knights and Titans games the way we did, because had we just eeked out those wins, losing this game wouldnt have been a big deal, and it's still not going to be a death blow, but we're going to need to regroup quickly when Austin is back and start getting on a roll

I just cant get over how much Williams failed to step up. It was against two of the most unfancied sides in the league and he really didnt do anything. I think he set up a try against the titans ? Hodgson put on two. Hell Whitehead set up two against the knights lol.

Even if his job was to just finish the sets and put kicks in i cant remember too many good kicks. A competent halfback would have iced that game against the titans.

That said I am pretty sure that sticky is telling the lads to kick early ??? Which is insanity when defending a narrow lead. The opposition cant score without the ball.

Stuart has named a full strength side mostly. I have a feeling austin wont play just based on the injury. Ive been wrong plenty though

Hopefully they aren't stupid enough to risk AUstins knee unless it is 100%

Sezer, I'm confident, will play.

I know we're low on front rowers but still would have liked FPN to be dropped.

*edit* While the act was very stupid, he gets a tiny bit of respect back after seeing what Ryan James did to Rapana.

The dogs should win this comfortably however we tend to be complacent in games like these.
I'm predicting the dogs to get the chocolates in a clunky performance.

If Austin and sezer both play I'll tip the raiders.
They have the forwards to deal with the dogs

You are a brave man lol.

Listen if the pack rolls up the sleeves and plays with a bit of intensity we can maybe not get smashed by them but the dogs have the better pack and more importantly a pack that hasnt shown itself to be laaaaaazy down the middle with defence. I reckon Shillo is a really good prop but he is a metre eater he shouldnt be scoring tries down the middle of the field from a restart.

The raiders has a potentially very good pack but either they are all just lazy idiots or Stuart is coaching them not to push up. Why ? who knows.

That said we might win a shoot out if the dogs go mental.
