There is no difference between the two. Either both are tries, or neither are. Add Woods being allowed to tackle whoever he wants whether they have the ball or not, and you have a very one-sided performance by the officials.

A bloke runs through a hole you look at the defenders either side to see why they aren't there. Patten is not up to the job.

Pretty sure Patten missed it too, thought the obstruction he was looking for was earlier.
Gallen needed to play to the whistle but it was shocking they missed it.
