I don't think the Broncos have 30 points in them, they won't put the dragons to the sword like JTs boys did. Broncos 22-10 in a dull affair.

So why is this game at 7.50. By the time nine stuffs about it will be 8 o'clock kick off. Why not 7 o'clock kick off.. They do want people to go to the games don't they?

I am trying to find a reason as to why St George will be a threat here but I just can't, our "letdown" game was last week after a contender for match of the year against the Cowboys the round before, we looked flat but still won

At home, Dragons on the short turn around, 5 tries in 4 game.. yeah, nah

Until now Thu/Fri games have been 8:05 due to Daylight Saving - now it's over that's shifted forward to 7:50pm. It allows for a decent pre-match show for Ch 9.

To their credit I've found matches are kicking off much closer to schedule this year too.

As your blokes keep showing, they can win while not at their best and that's a bloody good sign. Broncos have plenty of points in them and unless we can get something resembling confidence with the ball with an early try or 2, this will get incredibly ugly.

I dont think it will get too ugly. Dragons will drag us down to their level and will be a grinding type game I reckon. Our second half fade outs are a concern, so hopefully we get enough in the first half to withstand the comeback.

Surely nine can go without ACA and have kick off much earlier. Makes it hard for a 6 o'clock start in the morning. No kids can go when its not school holidays.

I could be wrong but it's school holidays now isn't it?

Also - the school of thought with that is that if it's earlier people in the suburbs don't have enough time to get home from work, get the family and get to the game. They're gonna cop it either way. I think 7:50 is fine.

7:50 is superior to 7 IMO.
I suspect it is the reason Thursday tends to do slightly better than Monday in terms of crowds.
