Exactly, and this applies to all games. It's not up to the refs to maintain even penalty counts and they're not out there running a mental tally like some emotional types inexplicably seem to believe. Souths have well and truly been in the physical contest tonight, much to their credit given recent performances, however their discipline in both attack and defence has been sloppy to say the least.

Should start a petition to the NRL to start treating all the clubs as well as they do the Broncos. Ask for a level playing field, not favourable draws with over 50% of the games at home and mix up the number of days they have to turnaround from week to week. Until then the Broncos success is tainted.

Let's see what happens next year when the NRL supposedly chose the games, not TV. I doubt anything will change
