Would be great to see this concept expanded a little more in my opinion. Nothing major, just a few more games, the concept appears to be a success. Maybe:

Fiji V PNG - Melanesia Cup
Tonga V Samoa - Polynesia Cup

Winner V Winner - Pacific Cup

Then the pacific cup winner gets to host NZ end year.

Maybe even add NZ V Pacific All Stars to have 3 lots of games to run beside Origin.

Two of the best games I've seen this year. Hopefully there can be more opportunity for these Pacific Nations in the future. The test in Apia is an excellent start.

Totally agree. The Tonga v Samoa game was fantastic. The Haka from each side at the start was brilliant and the game was incredibly physical and intense. Only thing I could criticise about it was the dropped ball, and lack of a solid playmaker from either side really taking control. Otherwise I reckon it was a more entertaining spectacle than the AU v NZ game on Friday.

Definitely need to be doing it more often than just once a year.
