I heard that there is still a possibility that the Aust citizen PNG players can still have to pay Aust tax ….?

But even not I doubt the other clubs will care until they start beating them which won’t happen for years

Players won't move to Canberra for 20% more so it's not really an issue. That and the clubs are getting their pieces of silver through the license fee to rubber stamp the experiment so I doubt they will care.

We dont know for sure the non disclosure finishes tomorrow. That was a media line only, no official nrl statement. The Brisbane bids weren’t allowed to talk until the announcement.
