Sterling, like your namesake you are a rude little man. I guess you havent had a whole lot to be happy about since and thats ok.
Especially as you have won more premierships than us bit also wooden spoons, you are sitting in Sam Ayoubs pocket as well with his dud signings. I guess we have the final revenge as a Newtown Junior is now you CEO and will scre you everyway he can.

This was obviously sent as a gee up.
I remember that game well as Parra were on the road to a very successfull era & i was at the SCG earlier in the day to see Souths Under 23's kick Parra's backside & then i watched the Newtown - Parramatta game back at Souths Leagues club.
It was a game where both teams had their moments but Parra on the back of Kenny-Sterling-Grothe-Ella-Price-Cronin were just to strong in the end.
You can saviour the moment that your club won it's maiden premiership but to bag Newtown for being their opponents on the day is the act of a child.

As much as your comments are deplorable Sterling at least you got this forum moving again.
BooBoo: It was actually 81 when they beat us, 83 was our last season, eels beat manly that year. Thanks for your support though, unlike Sterling your comments are always welcome.

My bad Greg but i still remember that game.
It's still sad to think that a grand old club like Newtown had to fold due to financial reasons.
I just wish the NRL still had both Newtown & Norths in the comp but it's not to be.
Long live the Bluebags.

Well 1983 was agreat year Sterling.
Souths still played at Redfern, Newtown were still in the comp, bands like the Lime Spiders, The Stems, Spy vs Spy, The Eastern Dark still played in inner city pubs, schooners were a lot cheaper & the ALP reigned supreme.
Life was a lot less hectic back then & i truely miss those days.
Long live the Bunnies & the Bluebags.
