Went to bed with the game in the balance, woke up to this:

went to sleep at about 5/150 - so new we were safe with over half the runs and half the wickets left

don't see any improvement in the England bowling attack besides bringing Mark Wood in
They really are plodders when the conditions aren't 100% to their liking
I'm very surprised such a dry pitch was dished up such as the one in this test. Thought the Poms would've produced conditions that favour their bowling attack

World's apart from the greentops produced at Edgbaston and Trent Bridge in 2015, where we lost within 3 days.

Reports were that England asked for these type of pitches to help them bazball
The good thing was that it gave a 5 day match with the result in doubt right till the end which I think is good for the game

Seems like the main area of improvement for England would be their fielding which I think cost them
They probably could have got a few more runs if they batted normally - though result would have been most likely a draw

Especially the ones who have watched approximately 2 minutes of cricket in their life and were strutting around like they were John Snow.

100% correct.

One of them craps on about Soccer 11 months of the year and nothing else but when the Ashes roll around he's an expert on Cricket.
