The loss of Bird and Franze wouldnt hurt us really. In fact, it would elimnate the burdon of Bird and provide us with a better opportunity to develop Aitken as our first grade 5/8. Franze is not a real big loss either, I doubt he will ever return to the form he had displayed in previous years.

Bird only turned 21 this year, has a lot of potential ... Was also the Aust schoolboys capt, you don't get that by being mediocre.

Bad news for hulka is that Mr Ennis will be riding a horse.
So that means the Knoughts are short a utility, which Ennis doesn't want to be. Bird will be happy to be.
Franze I hear is actually being released, as his contract is not up. He will take Richos place at Newcastle.
This will open the door for the Aitkens, kents, Porters etc. at the Sharks..

Far from a done deal & probably all hinging on what the Broncs do. Again.
