We should be calmly accumulating runs. The last 3 wickets have all been due to panic. Its 1.50pm on day 4! We have time. And the way we're going now they're going to have a lot of time to get the runs.

If I was captain I reckon Watson and Hughes would still be there. My order at lunch would have been stay calm and accumulate. Get 3 an over till 5pm. Don't have a meltdown.

We already have enough to win you lot are overthinking this. Don't want to expose whe bowlers so we will declare at the fall of the next wicket.

Ha, BM will have aneurysm reading that.

Not far off the mark though Id reckon, but exactly why we need to lift the run rate much earlier.

You want 350+ against a side with Dilshan, Mahala & Sangakarra in it and with your team a bowler down. The pitch is still holding up well.

WTF are you talking about?

Just making shit up now.
1st innings: Warner 57, Hughes 86
2nd innings: Warner 68, Cowan 56

At one point in the 1st innings we were 2-183. At one point in the 2nd innings we were 2-153.

So this notion that our top order hasn't done well in this innings is bullshit.

As a whole, Warner, Cowan and Hughes have got us to a good start in both innings of this test.
Phil Hughes and his innings has forced the rest of the team to have to resort to going the Tonk

What a selfish merkin
Oh please. He got out by playing a shot that wasn't there because he was following bad orders. Same as Watson. Same as Wade.

When did I claim in this INNINGS you f**king halfwit?

How could you claim that our top order has batted consistently well this summer?

Can someone explain this to me?
Because I feel they both got out by playing panic shots, by playing shots that weren't there because it looks like they were ordered to up the run ate. If I was captain they would have got different orders and I feel they'd still be there as a result of that.

Yep, If Bunniesdouche was captain, Australian cricket would be in a far worse state than it is currently.

He'd have hughes practicing his pull in the showers for hours on end and Watson would be curled up in the fetal position with a cork up his a$$.

Well they would have been much more relaxed at the crease due to all the sneaky BJs they received from the skipper back in the pavilion.

Noone is arguing that they were not bad before this test. That was part of the reason I wanted Hughes in the team, because the top order wasn't doing well enough as a whole.

In this test I feel Warner, Cowan and Hughes have all done well. You said nothing to differentiate the previous tests to this one. The top order has been much better in this test.

No I don't. As a whole I think he's been a very good captain. Just today I think he's got it wrong and I think my way would be better.

Hughes didn't get out playing a shot, he got out because he couldn't decide whether to block or hit and decided to go halfway and just hang his bat out lazily. It was terrible technique, nothing more.

I can't be certain but I'm pretty sure he reads cricinfo and regurgitates what he reads whilst actually have nfi what he's talking about.

If the top 3 isn't the problem why have you been Death riding Ed Cowan like he's Hitler than?

You're not watching the game surely. It was a late cut when the ball should have been left alone. It had nothing to do with a block.

I just dislike him. I don't enjoy watching him. He looks like a crab. But as much as I dislike him I can't say he's done a bad job in this test. The top 3 have scored runs. Hussey and Clarke have scored runs. Pretty much only Watson has failed.
