Geez didn't take long for the batsmen to start letting our bowlers down again. Latham opening in the red ball stuff just doesn't work does it? He should move down to 5.

Of course there is nobody screaming out for the opening spots. Jeet has been struggling too recently.

Latham does still have an okay average - but he does seem to be feast or famine. Much rather have an opener contributing lots of starts than getting out in single digits as often as he does.

As you said great day all round for NZ though. Looking forward to the first session tonight.
