That still doesn't put you in a position to attack other clubs' jersey changes. There have been so many different jumpers going through st george/illa in recent years so none of ur statements are holding much water. In fact if I'm not mistaken the team with the least jersey changes since the NRL opened up in 1998 would be us. Our's is still loosely based on the same jersey with only one major overhaul given in 1999. Our away changed once from the grey to inverted Blu&W. Even Souths have had a number of away strips and changes in recent years. The Roosters updated their away strip once or twice, leaving us as the sexiest team alive.

Ok i was joking about that very last part

I'm not attacking, I'm just I don't like it. Besides, it's an open forum.

So it's okay to have five different jumpers in a season, as long as its the Merged Scum doing it?

Thanks for clearing that up

So is there any news on 2005 Jerseys?

From what I can gather, there's a few clubs changing jerseys and/or sponsors.

A LOT of 2004 jerseys are selling for between $80-100 down here in the Gong, including the Sharks, Eels, Warriors, and Dragons.

I cant understand why merged clubs cant have say eg, St George Illawarra, Saints as home jersey and Illawarra as an away strip, It looks like that both clubs are being embraced more that way.

I can't think of a single jersey from any team, apart from the two I mentioned, that resemble ones worn in the past. They've all changed now.

Penrith wear Black and Aqua and White for crying out loud, and they used to be Brown. NZ wear Grey and White when they used to be White, Red, Blue and Green.

Canberra returned to the lime green with Blue, Yellow, and White stripes in 2003.

Cronulla are bringing out a strip to commemorate their premiership success.

It's an all black number.

Gee that's funny.
Much like St George Illawarra's stella history. Are they bringing out a jersey to commemorate something this year? Like every other year? ANZAC jersey, Charity Shield jersey.... maybe they should replace the so called "blood and bandages" jersey with one that has real bandages? The players would get a lot of use out of that one.

Well we actually have things to commemorate.

That's the price we pay for being a great club. I would'nt expect you to understand.
