Good to see the falcons get 5 tv games :D! 3 MNF games, a thanksgiving day game and one sunday night game! But overall the schedule looks pretty good with some great matchups over the season. Im already counting the days!

its quite favourable for the Jets. the only worry is the heavy bias on away matches in the early part of the season.

in regards to division rivals and scheduling, we're @ miami in december which means avoiding the early season heat, and we're @ buffalo in october, (a december trip to orchard park generally means packing the thermals). our two matches against the patsies are in december & our final 3 matches are against division rivals. make or break.

Hmm good question. why do the NRL refer to an open date with a BYE. 8)

Cant answer ya Q's Paullyboy.

The NFL offseason is too long
I cant see one bronco's game that i can mark down as a definite win thats how good the comp will be this season.

Just out of curiosity, why do the NFL always refer to the bye as open date?

I actually noticed on the Dolphins site that thier "Open Date" is noted as a "Bye Weekend".

I guess the term "Open Date" is just the way Americans speak (they say faucet, we say tap or they say ketchup, we say sauce).

Open date means exactly that though.....its a date on the schedule that is open (or free).

I get to see the Skins in rd 2!!!!

Just hope that Gibbs has sorted them out. I was really positive going into week 2 last year.... that ended so quick.

NFL offseason too long? They couldnt play the game if they had any more games in the schedule.

I think the season length is perfect, Players dont tire out before the end of the season. It keeps the football competitive and always high quality.... unless you support the Skins :? :(

I wouldnt mind the season, agree with ya its a perfect length.

I just wish we could get some NFL Europe footage or Arena NFL coverage down here. I guess i cope with pulling out some old tapes of some games and a few episodes of NFL Films.

Other forms of Football also shorten down the off season ;-)
