2006 forum suggestions...?

I know there's no off-season, but...

We're at that stage of the year where things might soon get a bit quiet. So this thread is for any suggestions abbout what people want in here for next year. It can be things for this ESL forum, as well as for the ESL coverage through LU (ie articles etc in the menus on the left and through the site's "Home" page).

For example:
What's good, what's bad or what's missing?
What type of information would you like to read here?
What type of discussions would you like to have here?
What type of information should we make sure we put up on the website?
Are there any interests or passions that you'd like to pursue through the forums (like Evil Homer has done with the Ins and Outs thread)?

Fire away, every suggestion is a valuable one. This place is what we make out of it. And we'lll see what we can do to build up a good general ESL presence for the site/foums in 2006.... :D

Better yet, ESL news on time. The match reports on LU are usually posted like 5 days after the game.

Good stuff, please keep the suggestions coming...

I should also say that if you want to help getting any of these (or other) things to happen on the main site, then there are opportunities to become involved. Feel free to PM myself or Willow with any questions or expressions of interest.

I'll be back with my personal contribution, the ESL broadcast times on Foxtel.

*bump*

Good stuff Jed. Might see if we can work in the NZ, UK and French ESL broadcast times in as well - I think we have members around who are in all those areas?

Jason, there is a tipping comp linked to LU (link at the very top of the page) but run off-site, with an LU group leaderboard. Probably should publicise it more next year, hey? *thinks...*

Please keep the ideas coming until start of next season... every bit from anyone helps.

If someone wants to let me know the URL's for all the relevant TV Network websites I'll put my hand up to take care of that. My advantage with Fox Sports is that I get emailed all the last minute changes ;-)

How about some more National League news? it's pretty difficult to find some scores, expecially earlier in the season. Perhaps a NL1 and NL2 news article on LU once a week?

Maybe there's enough demand for a sub-forum for NL stuff?

The ESL forum is quiet enough as it is without adding a sub-forum for an even less popular competition. The idea of a news article once or twice a week is a good one though.

More stuff on the Celitc Crusaders if possible, since they were announced I haven't heard a whisper about them.
