THE Jim Beam Cup representative side clinched the 2008 Quad Series with a 28-8 victory over NSW Country at Stockland Park today.


The XXXX Rangers finished third after a hard-fought 34-16 win over the Great Britain Community Lions.

The management of the new Queensland Cup side, Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles attended the finals of the quad series and expect to sign 3 members of the Jim Beam side. They are expected to also announce the signing of 3 existing Qld Cup players over the next few weeks and 6 players from Manly Warringah NRL squad will fly up each week to form the core of the side.
