Just did a bit of research in terms of the ages of the squad. I think based on the following ages we've got a long year ahead of us in 08, but in 2009 we should be highly competitive.

Players 17 years old: 1 - Kieran Foran

Players 18 years old: 12 - Ben Gilbert, Ben Uptin, Cameron Woo, Cameron Warwick, Illija Radan, Jai Jones Wiegold, Jamie Buhrer, Kenny Edwards, Darcy Lussick, Matt Grieve, Michael Tiopira, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves

Players 19 years old: 8 (3 of which turn 19 between 20th Feb and 3rd of March) - Daly Cherry Evans, Inoke Tapaatoutai, John Grey, Lincoln Gutherson, Matt Hastie, Pat North, Trent Reilly, Zac Bowles

I just got told from a source at Manly that we won the trial vs Melbourne last Friday night 30-18 in the NYC. They weren't 100% certain however.

Manly has another trial this week against Erina (Jim Beam Cup Side) at Forestville Oval.

Kick off is at 2:00pm.
