You're in here every week, plugging away with new banners almost immediately. Very diligent.

This is actually the first week I've done the banners in a month... Jobdog has credit for the banners in the past 5 rounds tbh, but in not doubting your sincerity, thank you.

I hope he fights it and gets off. If he isn't successful or takes the early plea, so be it.

Titans forward Matt White is facing a minimum of three weeks on the sidelines after being charged with a crusher tackle on Penrith fullback Lachlan Coote in last night's 34-20 loss to the Panthers at CUA Stadium.

The grade three dangerous contact charge carries a four game suspension, but an early guilty plea will see the former Knights forward miss three games.

The incident occurred in the 25th minute, and resulted in Coote being substituted for the remainder of the match.

"He's got pretty bad spasms and he's in a fair bit of pain at the moment, which is not like Cootey, he doesn't tend to whinge too much," said Panther coach Matt Elliott following the match.

When asked what he though of the tackle, Elliot replied: ''I didn't think it was great''.

White was adamant after the match that the contact with Coote's head was purely accidental.

"I think it looked worse than what it was, the tackle was pretty high and I actually just swung him around and his head got caught underneath me and they've thought it was a crusher I suppose," said White.

In other judiciary news, Sharks skipper Paul Gallen is set to fight his grade one careless high tackle charge.

The Kangaroos backrower is only facing a one-match ban with an even if found guilty, but has decided to head to the judiciary tomorrow night to plead his innocence.

The tackle left Rabbitohs utility Craig Wing concussed.

Bulldogs rake Michael Ennis has also decided to fight his charge of a chicken wing tackle on rookie Raiders fullback Josh Dugan.

Ennis will still only miss the one week if he fails to beat the charge.

As expected, the Cowboys today decided to enter an early guilty plea to Luke O'Donnell's contrary conduct charge for throwing punches in the Cowboys win over Manly on Saturday.

North Queensland successfully argued yesterday to have O'Donnell's carry-over points reduced by ten, after taking into account two trial matches this year where he played without incident.

Under new laws bought in this year, carry-over points are reduced by five for each match in which a player is not charged with an offence.

The ten-point deduction means O'Donnell will miss just the one match.

Brisbane Broncos coach Ivan Henjak has defended selecting disciplined duo Nick Kenny and Steve Michaels for the NRL match against Newcastle on Saturday night.
The pair were named in an unchanged Broncos side for captain Darren Lockyer's 300th premiership game for Brisbane despite calls for them to be stood down after attracting police attention in Byron Bay last weekend.

The Broncos said Kenny and Michaels would be disciplined internally, with both expected to cop a fine.

Henjak said the club believed the punishment was adequate.

"We talked about it as a club and we think we have come up with a decision that is appropriate and fits the crime," he said.

"I am trying to make a fair decision and the club is trying make a fair decision on what is an appropriate penalty.

"And I don't think standing them down for a couple of games or even one game is an appropriate penalty."

Brisbane (6-1 record) are outright ladder leaders after thrashing Parramatta 40-8 last round.
