2010 Heritage Jersey

Not sure if this has been covered yet. I thought that the B&G store was the only store carrying the 2010 heritage jersey. When you look at the online pictures of the jersey and the ones worn by the players on the field the hoops around the chest area are not continuous front to back, breaking under the sleeve area.

When I was in League and Legends yesterday I noticed that they were carrying the heritage in the male and females designs. When I looked at it though the hoops on the chest area are continuous front to back. They carry all the sponsorship and nrl insignias.

What’s the go, is it still the official 2010 heritage jersey or not?

not sure about that one sorry, i only got a email with a picture from ISC and picture only showed the front of the jersey.
I can assume the players don't have the stripes on the back as it may intervere with the visability of the players numbers.

Probably the BGA store had them first and tried to corner the market by saying you could only get them there (was probably true at the time). Surprise, surprise.

I reckon they look better with the continuous stripes under the arms, but you are right. The players jerseys don't have the continuous stripes

Players jersey are a different cut as the players wear them really tight which makes them harder to to tackle - no loose jerseys for defenders to grab onto.
They make adjustments to each jersey so it is customed tight fit to the individual player. They tuck in and sew up any excess mateial and this is done on the sides of the jersey - hence the reason why the hoops are not continuous and break under the sleeve area.

I am not sure that is right because at the first couple of home games they had the jersey for sale that had the break in the hoops, the same as worn by the players (I understand that they tailor fit the players jerseys). For some reason it looks like they have altered the design from the initial release of the jersey.

I agree that they look much better with the continuos hoops.

I saw a close up pic of the player's jersey, and the piece under the arms looks like a stretch piece of material, different than the rest of the jersey.

The only heritage jerseys I've seen for sale had the continuous stripe, not the broken stripes
