Browne was named in the NSW Cup side at prop. No idea why he wasn't selected. His form was great when he played for us.

Early in the week I was hopeful in this one, but the Panthers are red hot at the moment, so we'd need to be at our best. Let's hope it's close enough at the end that the bounce of the ball can make a difference - and it goes our way.

Final lineups have Puletua starting for the Panthers, and Paea starting in place of Armit for us.

Should be a good game, hope we can get some points on the board and give Penrith a run for their $$$.

On the back of what we've see in the first 11 weeks.. We are wooden spoon favourites surely?

We're currently the worst team in the comp.

Hardly, we put 16 on Penrith today without Hannant, Ennis, Noddy, Roberts and Jamal.

I think we'll be back at full-strength next week, however, we will have those 3 players backing up from origin, plus Hannant and Roberts will be back from injury for the first time. I guess missing Ennis and our regular halves stung us hard! I think by round 15 (2 weeks after the bye) if we have a full strength team and can't start to string wins together, we won't make the 8.

I know what you're trying to say, but look at our first 11 weeks. We've never looked like being even 50% of the team we were last week. And tonight was absolutely dreadful.

Have we had a full strength lineup once this season?

I think we have... once... we beat Sydney 60-14 that week.

If we get everyone bar Roberts back next week, we'll give the Storm a run for their money. I think next week is pretty much make or break.

Mate, we are not that good. We are consistently having the same problems and are struggling to score points, yes there have been a couple of exceptions but on the whole our attack is so predictable and we have no new game plan each week.

Its always, one out or an inside ball, our defence is dreadful and we are not playing as a team or communicating with eachother, we are not improving at all and the same problems keep popping up, i dont know what it is but Moore needs to get his a$$ into gear and improve our performances.

And tbh, we may have been missing 1 or 2 players some games but it is not an excuse, other teams have been missing players (and some much more than us and they are coping) we just dont seem up to standard this season.

With our crunch players in the right roles we have no trouble scoring points. Our biggest problem has been a lack of quality forwards. We aren't missing 1 or 2 players, we're missing up to 5 every game, it's ridiculous.

With Hannant back next weekend and Hodgson, Paea and Armit all behind him, I think we can give it a rumble next week. Not saying we'll win, but we'll give it a go.

There have only been a couple of games where we have missed 5 or so players, Hickey doesnt count and neither does Halatua, the guy has done nothing since 05. We have no excuses, like i said other teams have dealt with more injuries and are coping better than us.

And Timmah if you cant see our problems in attack than i dont know what your watching, it is so obvious what we are going to do and we are so predictable, our kicking game is rubbish and we throw about 3 inside balls per set, we may make some breaks but our execution is poor and although we have been struggling, things dont look like getting better.

You're basing these assessments on games where we have little or no go-forward because we're missing quality forwards, or todays game where our kicking game was run by a young bench player with less than 30 first grade caps and a NSW Cup player. Noddy's long kicking game is one of the redeeming features of our season thus far and that showed tonight. The fact we didn't let Penrith run away with it tonight I though was good. Why we have to sit here and believe our team is crap because we lost a tough game without the nucleus of our team (Ennis Kimmorley Hannant Idris Roberts... come on mate, they're big names) is beyond me.

Who are you kidding. We've been sh*thouse with go forward and without.

...and please don't include Hickey in this list of Quality Forwards we are missing.

Our attack has been most disappointing. We aren't playing as a team, our options are 90% dreadful, we lack cohesion and we're the most predictable side in the comp.

Compared to last year we've done a complete reversal. If we can get back to a 100% roster then I'm sure we'll challenge, but a champion team should still be able to fight through injuries.

We don't need a team of champions to be a champion team. Just a group of loyal, hard working players who execute properly and play with cohesion and gel as a group. Something we did so well last year.
