I don't know what to make of this game. England have been f**king woeful and Slovenia are topping the group

England to me look like France...not interested and pretty obvious that there is a lot of in-fighting going on. I couldn't be arsed to stay up and watch this

I hope England go through for the purposes of seeing them in the next round. I have some massive doubts about their ability to pull it together though

Just as it's full-time in the England game, USA scores. Damn, it was a beautiful dream I had, but the reality is turning out to be a nightmare.



England were the better team in this game and deserved the win, it was almost comical how many goal-scoring opportunities they blew. But one wonders whether they would have made it beyond the group stages if they'd landed in any other group with this kind of form. Probably only Italy's group (which is why unfortunately we'll see the Italians also squeak through to the round of 16 tomorrow playing no better than what the French, and England, did).
