I think you will find Alex is part of the squad. I may be wrong though his name was mentioned by Matty Lavin pre-Xmas and he is on the team website.

Really? Such a shame. Thanks for the info. Makes sense doesn't given HE PLAYED FOR BERKLEY VALE in touch footy comp for young Jason Annear recently. When I spoke to Lavin he was "hopeful" so I guess we lost out. Oh well. Plenty of good young talent running around at Morrie Breen Oval.

This bloke seems to have had a first grade disappear, I don't the the full reasons but it is a bloody shame.

I first seen him playing for Western Surburbs then promoted to the Wests Tigers in the one year, hard running, hard tackling backrower, maybe it progressed too quickly. I know he had some personal problems before joining Wests.

Shame such a highly talented player didn't make a long career from it. I suppose he is not the first and will not be the last.
