Yeh, sort of. They've been solid or better for a bit longer. We had also won about 10 in a row before the GF in 01. Souths have lost a few and in the process and should have a fair idea of what can go wrong.

We all know the judiciary and the match review panel are jokes. Their inconsistency is unbelievable.
But, it wasn't a great tackle, and to get a week is only fair. Grand Final or not.

Luke also has a history of trouble for lifting tackles (and some other unsavoury stuff including cannonballs, trying to break his cousin's leg etc). If they let him off for that tackle the family of Alex McKinnon might as well give it up. Doesn't mean the judiciary got all the other recent tackles right, of course.
