Just some interesting facts about SOO to pass the time until kickoff. The Eels have provided only 3 SOO debutants to Queensland since it's inception compared to 24 debutants to NSW. The Broncos have provided 35 SOO debutants to QLD and 3 to NSW. NSW have used 253 players in total to QLD's 177. There are some long forgotten names on these 2 lists.

Oh, it's ok, Ray's in there to explain that the team who wins the first game wins 2/3 of the series. FMD it's simple maths you idiot!

Even if the teams of exactly equal ability, if you win the 1st game your chance of winning the series is 75%.
