Two Senior Finalists were announced in August 2015 by the Seniors Committee that reviews the qualifications of those players whose careers ended more than 25 years ago.

Ken Stabler, Quarterback – 1970-1979 Oakland Raiders, 1980-1981 Houston Oilers, 1982-1984 New Orleans Saints
Dick Stanfel, Guard – 1952-55 Detroit Lions, 1956-58 Washington Redskins

Outside of Favre, who is a certainty the remaining choices are hard to pick. Some quality players are going to miss out this season.

Say what you want about the guy but T.O deserves to get in, hell he's #3 in receiving TDs all time.

He talked the talk but backed it up, was still very productive later in his career also

So its interesting

Competitive field this year.
leaving some great candidates out. Coryell, Stabler, Davis and Lynch all warrant being there. and then theres all the receivers etc. but then again it took em this long to put in Ray Guy and Charles Haley.

but next year, the only player who is newly eligble player who would be a first ballot shot is Ladainian Tomlinson. so next season could see a few of those guys who are eligble with a great chance. Receivers for example. Harrison. Holt etc.
Others eligible in 2017 are Bryan Dawkins and Jason Taylor. id say Taylor gets in as well.

The 2018 class would have less open spots, as Ray Lewis and Randy Moss are both eligible and will be first ballot players.

I say Terrell Davis is a HOF player.

thoughts?

Call bias if you want, I'm right

2x Super Bowl Champ
SB MVP
NFL MVP
Multiple 1st Team All-Pro
Multiple OPOY
Multiple NFL & AFC Rushing Titles
2000yd Season + Davis also recorded 21 rushing touchdowns in his 2,000 yard season, the only 2,000 yard rusher to do so. Davis had reached the 1,000-yard mark only seven games into the season.

In his 8 postseason games from 1996 to 1998, his numbers were staggering: 204 carries for 1,140 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with 19 receptions for 131 yards. This included a streak of 7 consecutive games with over 100 rushing yards, all of which the Broncos won, breaking the previous record for consecutive 100 rushing yard postseason games held by John Riggins (6).

Former Broncos RB @Terrell_Davis
and HOF Jim Brown are only players to avg. 100+yds./game (incl. playoffs). Brown - 102.9, Davis - 101.7.

+ Much More, speaks for itself no brainer as a hall of fame player. Farcical he isn't already in.

.

I'm still trying to work out how Kurt didn't make it in the first time. He's the best qb I've seen play. In the playoffs he was the elite of the elite. Don't get it.

And Terrell davis was a stud. He carried the broncos to 2 Superbowl wins. I used to love watching him run. Although 3 years of production puts him begins the 8 ball.
