Parra will take 8th. They'll beat Penrith and my pathetic team, so they'll catch up points on both sides. And Parra's for and against is better than the sides fighting for 8th spot.
They would need to win 8 straight. Their draw is very reasonable but they'll stumble at some stage. Maybe next week.

I think the Eels could make it with 7 wins.

Not sure who they are playing but they are a better team than most vying for 7th & 8th.

They are still getting negative headlines - there should be no way they can make the semis this year but the NRL have not discouraged future offences by leaving the door ajar for them.

How so? Our side was equally depleted today. Originay have effected Sharks more. But we were still missing:

Moylan
Mansour
Hiku
Whare
Tmm
Mckendry
Peachey

Through injury and origin. Ontop of stupid decisions to release:
Taylor
Soward
Segeyaro

Honestly this Panthers side was an absolute mess. inexperienced spine. Bandaid solution backline. Forward pack that think they're all halfbacks.

This side was arguably our worst in years.

I disagree, you've had lots of injury plagued years recently.

However, I do agree that you are still missing heaps of players, going by that list.

Hope you can get it together & make the 8.

Experience wise it was our least experienced roster in a long time. The fact Will Smith could get a run after so many terrible games shows just how bad our roster has gotten.

He should have been marked never to play again after his form at the beginning of the year. But our coaches seem to forget how bad he is and he's not far down the list for a spot in first grade.

Hell his trial against the Eels should have ruled him out of the NRL.
