It would be sad if Jamie Lyon didn’t get to play his last game at Brookvale, but from a Raiders perspective it would be good for Manly not to have that motivation. Hopefully the chance to seal 3rd spot is enough for us to show up anyway.

Hodgson is back so we shouldnt be quite as leaky around the ruck. I can deffo see us dropping a game before the season ends but I am a negative nancy in the extreme.

I think anyone that has supported the Raiders would find that to be realistic. Funny how winning 11 out of the last 12 games can’t shake that unease.

Manly down on troops here, to say the least and those remaining aren't all that healthy. Killer's career looks to be over. Walker is gone. Matai is long gone. Turbo is playing injured. Taufua has been playing with the yuckiest infection imaginable, despite taking enough antibiotics to kill a horse. It's a seriously banged up side waiting for the season to end with very little to play for facing a white hot Raiders who only needed to show up for the second half last week and still won comfortably.

If the Raiders want to put the fear of God into their fellow top 4 contenders, they will turn up focused and put 60 or 70 on Manly here. They need the for and against to get past the crumbling Sharks into second place anyway. But more likely they'll do what is needed and not much more, winning by about as many as the Storm did.

Canberra should prove far to classy and strong.Unless it pisses down,I can't see Manly getting near them.

Expecting the team to lift big time for Killer's Brookie farewell (even though he won't play).

But lifting will only take us so far, with Canberra still getting away with a win by around 10.

Our target should be 2nd spot. It's very realistic now as the Sharks only need to drop one game (and they have the Roosters and Storm to get through - possibly the two hardest teams to play at this point in time).

Supercoach Barrett to pick Lewis Brown as capt/coach...Brown to gift Croker 6 tries... Raiders by 30

So Tom T clearly injured yet still picked.

Are Manly having issues with the 2nd tier cap?

Surely it would be better for him to have started his pre season the moment they were out of finals contention.

I don't know why people continually bag Croker.
Because for years he was a shit defender and a ball hog in attack with no draw and pass.

However, unlike Fenderp, he turned it all around and is now one of our best week in, week out.
