The positive, supercoach barrett has finally taken Brown out of the centres...

What a geniused coach, I know the Eagles have been down on troops...His selections and lack of coaching has proven this guys a massive dud just like his playing days... Yooohoo another year of failure approaching if this joke is retained next year...

Other than that though, you're happy with the direction Baz is taking the club, moving forward?

He finally managed to get one inconsistent drifter to start playing some great consistent footy......and now he is off to the eels

We should get the job done. I don't buy the crap manly have nothing to play for. There are always tough to beat even if they are wounded.
Panthers by 4.

Well Penrith play the Bulltards regardless of any other results now.

Everyone still think they will not rest a couple?

Can't recall the last time we were in this position were as we didn't need to win the last game to advance or avoid any drop, with the exception of 1991 when we had the minor premiership wrapped up by 6 points.

Hook seems to genuinely take it one week at a time. He's in the business of winning games. I don't think anyone really needs a rest and it's a big occasion for the club. He might take a few players off early if the game's in the bag.

I can see him possibly shuffling the bench, but reserve grade would already be in NZ for their final tomorrow, this limits the options a tad. I get the feeling this match is regarded as a very important one and the team will be wanting to win it as much as any other game. Hook appears to be focused on getting the side to concentrate on this game and not the Bulldogs next week.

That's the only time I reckon, and they came out and gave the Roosters a drubbing at their home ground. Phil Gould's side for that game was very close to the Grand Final side, except Fittler was missing.

If penrith win by 50 they'll end up coming 5th. Whilst it's unlikely with how both teams are playing I wouldn't entirely rule it out. If the panthers lead by 20 at halftime I could see manly completely capitulating

Moses Leota was named in this mornings ISP side to face the Warriors which leaves Jeremy Latimore either as starting prop or coming from the bench.
