Although to be fair it was their first hit out and they didn't send as strong a team as I was expecting.

On this point I have to ask, what the heck are you talking about? Who else were you expecting to see play for the Roosters? Jared Warea-Hargeaves? He's still injured. Boyd Cordner? Same as JWH. Pearce? He's in rehab. Only player who may have cracked the side would be Joe Bugess. AS such that was as close to a full strength side they could name.

Yeah, I'm not saying they left anyone out, just that the Roosters team looked a lot stronger last time I saw them, which was last year.

how biased are the commentators .... pretty amusing actually

Just watched some highlights, why do they question if its a forward pass for every bloody try, its like checking for a no-ball every wicket in cricket these days.

The only way they scored were through a try handed to them on a platter and when the defence were a man down, both by a Titans/Warriors reject.. not a great look for St Helens.

St helens are a disgrace of a side, they shouldn't have played..

The leeds side thst plays on sunday bares little to no resemblence of the team that won the grand final last year due to retirements and injuries..

Wigan are our only hope...should be a close one

Well judging by the wording of your previous post that is not what you said, hence my query. I mean of course we looked stronger last year we had not lost -

RTS
James Maloney
Michael Jennings
Jared Warea-Hargreaves
Boyd Cordner
Mitchell Pearce.

Any team which loses 6 starters is going to look different. :)

Yeah, just like you were expecting a stronger St Helens side and the Cowboys are probably expecting a strong Leeds side when in reality they will be flogging a bunch of kids. This is why the comp should be played post-season.

Wow Jikorima was super impressive and Mitchell had some nice touches. What chance is Mitchell to start at fullback this season?

Gotta hand it to the Roosters, even after losing some high profile players they will still field a competitive team.

I take it Carlin Anderson isn't over there playing? Wouldn't be a bad way to push him over the Q-Cup level even if he got put in the centres. Kid has the potential to be a superstar,

Cmon! How long have you been following the Broncs? We have known Jayden has the potential to be brilliant for a long time. Roosters with Jayden, Hastings and Mitchell and going to be special in the next few years. Hopefully for the roosters they wont even need Mythchell Piss to come back.

Ok after a close look he probably grounded it a bit before his toe hit lol. Probably couldn't overall the ref though. Do they use the same benefit of the doubt to the refs as we do here in aus?
