If Saints win both their games they are in top 8 no matter what. They can even possibly finish 7th and play 6th.

If Cows and Manly lose this week and Saints beat Penrith which I doubt, there is even a chance Saints will make the 8 with just the win over Penrith. If Saints win they go to 28 equal with Manly and Cows (if they lose). Manly play Warriors and Cows play Tigers which is the only sticking point but it is last home game for both at Mt Smart and Campbelltown.

Cows then play Bronco's and Manly play Panthers. Those games are before Saints play dogs. If Manly and Cows lose as you would expect they stay on 28 and Saints remain on 28 with the for and against getting them top 8.

If all 3 lose (Saints/Manly/COws) then it can come down to last round and Saints have the easier round.

I don't think Saints will do anything in the top 8 regardless but they have been a better side than the Manly and Cows and deserve the top 8 more than they do.

If only Tariq scored against Souths when he was over the line instead of offload. What a difference that would be now. Poor bloke.

I think we will get the panthers
The eels won 7 in a row and look what happened v knights.
I have been hoping penrith will lose for us to make it , but now i am hoping they beat manly in the last round.
I wish the warriors would win preferably this week.
First things first
Semi final football gives a huge sense of anticipation,it is a different beast just being involved makes it more great

Correct me if I am wrong but if we win the next 2 games and Panthers lose the next 2 games, we will play Manly which I think will be a good draw for us, having smashed them twice this year.

Saints have really got themselves to blame BUT can go a long way in making up for these bad performances with 2 solid wins to finish the season. It's funny how they are playing a team in the 8 and a team out of the 8 which they played both already this season. They flogged the top 8 side and lost to the bottom 8 side which is the story of their season. Missed opportunity.

Duges to have a blinder.

Dufty to burn them.

Vaughan and LAM to smash the penny panthers through the middle.

Saints will rally to win this one just to confuse us and make us believe we can make the 8.

The real test will be the Bullgrubs.

SEASON IS FAR FROM OVER FIRE UP SAINTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the word if......

If bilko had not awarded 3 bullshit penalties in a row to give undeserved field position, we would have made the grand final in 84'

If Bilko had have seen the forward pass the play before their try we would have won the grand final in 85'

If the salary cap had been properly policed, we would have won a grand final in either 92' or 93'

If Harrigan had have seen the forward pass in the lead up to the second try scored against us, we would have won the grand final in 99'

Ifs don't win titles.
