I think the whole "have to be absolutely certain he would have scored" criteria for a penalty try is absolutely ludicrous. It is impossible to be 100% sure.

I think the interpretation should be changed to "if there was a fair chance a player would have scored had it not been for the foul" then it is a try. If you commit a professional foul - then that is the risk you run - a penalty try. At the moment you would always foul the player because they are extremely reluctant to award penalty tries.
I reckon they should've looked it in another way. Would've Montoya got to the ball first and grounded it if he hadn't have pushed Moses.

Moses shoulder was in front of Montoya when he pushed him hence Moses was in front before the push

Yes, I know that. I was just taking the piss.
But seriously, having a shoulder in front doesn't mean the video ref can be certain of him scoring

The rule says to give a penalty try you must be certain that if the infringement hadn't had taken place, then the player infringed would've scored.

The way I see it, if Moses wasn't pushed, he still would have to compete with Montoya for the ball and that created enough doubt to not award the penalty try.

Now, I still think Moses would've most likely scored, but that's not what the rule is.
If I was a parra fan I'd me more pissed off at why they took the 2 and also conceded 2 against a 12 man opposition.
