Definitely not a classic. Hard to judge how we are going, our defense looked good, 20 points from 3 tries, well constructed with good offloads should win many matches, so those are good signs.

But the Eels were so poor, it is hard to tell if it was us or them. And our handling was poor too.

Eels showed good willingness in the forwards, and some signs of spark in the backs, but looked a bit rudderless all game. They won't win many with that completion rate.

Sharks would be relieved but they looked as flat as last week. Once Seggy get match fit they will lift. As for Parra, it's like a different team from the first 2 rounds. They need to get French more involved

They are, but Ennis, Barba and Maloney took some time to settle last season, and we looked out of sorts at the start of 2016 as well.

Hopefully they will gel as well (or realistically, nearly as well) as last year's spine!
