Are you sure ? Trying to take my raiders bias off but I thought it was specifically outlawed to push a teammate in a try scoring situation.

Yep. Almost positive. SBW did it in 2014 iirc and it was penalised because the force was applied to the defender directly. Same again in our game against Parramatta last year.

You can "lend weight" to stop your teammate losing ground but james essentially turned it into a rugby union like drive.

Like i said we had a try taken off us last year when wighton drove croker over the line (or the other way around).

Ah I remember the one. It was Croker driving Wighton over the line and Croker got penalised for exactly what James did.

I think you will find Wighton made direct contact with the defender when driving Croker over the line. That is the only thing that matters.

Find it for me and we'll work it out. I'm happy to be proven wrong but like I said, I'm almost positive that's how it is.
