Knights must of worked on fixing it as they were conceding a average of 6 penalties per game before tonight. Well done knights!

Obviously they did although i have fears for them repeating the effort next week. Brisbane have already suffered from the post roosters discipline curse by conceding 2 (the number they conceded last week) in the first 5 minutes

Tremendous discipline by the knights. The refs could only find 1 penalty against them in a game where posession was dominated by their opposition. The 1 penalty was accidental offside.

So in essence they were perfect.

We are like that pretty much every week, except the refs usually pick on us because we are so bad.

We have A LOT of problems, lack of discipline is not one of them.

You conceded 8 penalties last week, 7 the week before, 10 in round 4 and 7 in round 3. Tonight was a statistical anomaly. What a coincidence it was against the Roosters.

Knights 5-1

When u get f**ked royally for 6 rounds chances are in this shitshow called the nrl u will get something back with a 20k home crowd.

You blokes were offside all night and only got pinged a few times. You have built a reputation on gladly giving away penalties to slow momentum particularly on your line.

But yeah the guy with the pea figured we were almost perfect. Go figure.

But what does us have to do with the Knights not giving away any penalties. Newcastle were just as offside and the fact that there was no penalty on the Keary tackle after that break was a joke.

I'm a firm believer that the knights had been shafted the last two games but to come out tonight and be so disciplined to only give away an accidental offside pentalty is a bit unbelievable.

You guys were offside but the last comment sums up my thoughts on us. 21k home supporters helps and no I don't think we were perfect.

Can you not just be happy you won or was it grossly unfair to the Chooks because you didnt put 60 on us?

See my original post. The refs pick on us.

It was nothing to do with the opposition, Browny had a spray about them after last game... after we got stitched up for two weeks running.

Usual transmission will resume again next week.

Well if the Roosters fans think they are getting stiffed in penalties, the real test will be when they play the Sharks (not for a while yet). We're giving away a gazillion each game, losing penalty counts, even at home, by a mile. 2 years ago we were one of the least penalised then wham, penalties everywhere (though we started winning more games the higher our penalty counts...).

If we give away 2 or 3 vs the Roosters, I'm taking my tin foil hat off and jumping on the Roosters are being ripped wagon.

Mate I think most of the chooks fans here are just making the point that again, miraculously, we got one penalty.

You are right, Sharks are getting canes in pens against. But on pens for you have 36 compared to our 30 but you still have a game to come. It's probably for the best we seem to win more when we don't get penalties.

It's cute listening to other fans complaining about poor officiating against their side. Imagine your team scoring perfectly legal tries only to have them taken off you because you're not supposed to be scoring them.
