No coach in a position of relevance is going to come out and lock him in for a spot in Origin, of course they want to downplay it to get the most out of him so he has to earn his spot, but there is no doubt in my mind he will be playing for QLD this year.

It's a shitty situation for the dragons. This NQL team has a lot of quality about it, and if the dragons take this game lightly they will get spanked. Dugan missing is a big loss for us, his defense covers some of our edge issues.

If the dragons show up with the right attitude they should be good enough to win, but they'll get no credit, and everyone will just focus on the cowboy's injury list.
