Michael Morgan the Kangaroos rep, ladies and gentleman.

Worst selection since Mata'utia.

There's loyalty and then there's taking the piss.

Never rated Morgan

Virtually won the cowboys the GF though

They don't win without his individual brilliance to go into golden point

But there's no doubt Thurston has always made him look good

Morgan rightly getting criticised. He has the skills and capability to be a commanding player.

But just does not have the ticker.

Needs to grow a pair and control the game. Or get out of the halves.

After the first 2 sets of the game I gave up. Knew from there they would just go above and beyond to find ways to make errors. You'd swear jt makes 40+ dominant tackles a game and helps fill gaps around the ruck, makes every play the ball and completes every pass as when he isn't there our defense turns to shit, players lose general coordination that comes standard with the basic human being and give up 5 metres after contact with each tackle

Morgan certainly wasn't great. However, he was operating behind a very well beaten pack tonight.

Hess seemed to struggle to get involved with the ball after the higher tackle work load.

Chicken and egg, the forwards would be asking themselves WTF at the end of each set.

As talented as ponga clearly is i cant help but think he needs to pack on some size

Cows site has him at 184cm and 90kg. He's not small....

Good win. Some things to improve on and Kenny should get a rocket (for the unbelievably stupid slap, long live celebrating with other players, especially if they get sandy vaginas like Cooper did) but we looked better anyway.

Exactly. Which is why there is no way Bird and Milford will pair in the halves next year at the Donkeys.

I love how you manage to turn every topic into a negative against Brisbane, it's very creative of you and it's actually rather impressive

Edwards is far from the only guy to slap someone since they banned punching. What is far more pathetic is his BS to start that scuffle in the first place to turn a scrum in front of the posts into a penalty and sinbinning.

He's been carrying on with that garbage for a while now and Arthur needs to crack down
Edwards didn't slap him tho. It was Kirisome Auva'a. They sent the wrong guy to the bin

We're missing 3/4 of our spine and the best prop in the game to injury. Where's the depth in our halves? Asiata has some nice skills but playing him in thr halves means we effectively lose a bench forward.

I get the feeling that Thompson and Hampton are not viable utility options if we want to be playing in September. Green should look to bring in a bargain halfback before June 30 to bolster our depth. Is the half from Townsville Blackhawks any good?

Forward pack was dominated tonight, couldnt gain any momentum or ascendancy because of poor ball security and therefore having to make more tackles than the Eels.

Last thought, I'm a fan of Kyle Feldt but that intercepted offload in the dying minutes on zero tackle was just woeful. Gifted the Eels valuable field possession and killed any slight chance we may have had of a comeback win. Might need a week in Q Cup to straighten him out.
