Hodgson is hooker. He's dummy half runs are he's best attribute. I don't think he's ever played 7 or has a kicking game. But who knows..
At the very least he'll have a go.
Gale did nothing I know. It was against Aus though.
They played well first game, I wouldn't be changing anything yet.
Benett picked that side based on watching these guys play heaps of games, so I doubt there will be many changes based on 1.

England are lucky that Hodgson is there. Take him out and Lebanon has a better spine.

Hodgson played the last half hour as a 2nd scrumhalf last Saturday and ask Canberra fans if he has ever played first receiver or has a kicking game! He's top 3 in 40/20s over the last 2 seasons in the NRL..

On Saturday,in the last 30min,the rightside attack of hodgson, widdop,Watkins and j-mac caused Australia several problems..that combination needs to be explored further imo

England are a bit like Souths - they can't seem to go for the full 80. They should win this one though

Fair enough.

And its not cos he's a aussies...its cos he's shit!
+1

at his very best, he was a good, solid, dependable NRL player – but still not good enough for State of Origin and not international standard

But he's now 36 (!!!), over the hill, slow and tired … he adds NOTHING to the England team whatsoever!

This should be a close game. If Lebanon's forwards play like they did against France it will give Moses time an space to worry the English defence, Having said that, I think the English side have more class across the park and should scrape home.

Bookies are giving Lebanon a 30 points start. I'd say thats not far off. England by 28, both wingers to score
