The thing is aussie refs will ref aussie wins and that sounds pathetic. The Roos dont need an aussie ref to take away the gloss from their win. They can win it with Perenara but obviously you dont sound too confident and thats why you say what you said about Perenara in your post above.

Look at my post history re Perenara and you will see it has nothing to do with my confidence about tonight. I would be just as confident with a pom ref or even a ref from the US ffs.

As woeful is Sutton. Whats something that ALL refs have in common? they ALL make mistakes but more good calls than bad and thats a fact. Sutton isn't so far above the rest of the refs that he doesn't make mistakes. If Sutton was perfect in all his calls then no-one can argue with him reffing the final but Sutton is just as good as Perenara only difference is, Sutton sings advance Australia fair before the game. FFS it looks stupid.

I agree but it wouldn't be the truth. The Kangaroos are truly the best, even if the Roos lose tonight by 20 (30 will never happen) I would still call them the best in the world. The Roos are so far up through years of domination that you have to beat them several times in a row to take the title as the best away from them.

Kiwis worked hard to do just that, but seem to have just thrown it away the past couple of years.
