Surely the priority is for a test match to be played in Tonga next year? I know the NRL funded the Samoa test last year. Can you imagine how many young Tongans are going to pick up a steeden after this world cup!
There's no turning back now.
If you call a sell out with millions watching live on TV disinterest. The overall disinterest in this game and the other semi are well reflected on this forum.
It was just a little slow on here, that's all.If you call a sell out with millions watching live on TV disinterest.
Not a fan of that... Island teams won't gain anything from that... Playing in Australia and nz gets them more profit and sponsors and gate profits...Surely the priority is for a test match to be played in Tonga next year? I know the NRL funded the Samoa test last year.
That's a pretty good assessment.I think if this game is played on a neutral ground we easily win this. My worry is the crowd are going to play a huge factor just like the NZ game. I still think we can win but if we allow them to get some momentum going who knows what could happen.

The Kiwis showed their 'pulling power' with a terrible crowd in Wgtn.Without the Kiwis!
I agree. I thought fiji might have been good but it was in fact a pathetic nz that I was watching.. are Tonga any good? We will find out but I doubt a Bennett coached English will roll over like the Kiwis.Seriously, just how bad was the NZ side? Even Fiji beat them which most probably does not bode well for Tonga in this match.
I sincerely hope the Tongans get home but it's possible the form line will not stack up in favour of Tonga.
