I'll revise my 14000 estimate down to 12500. Still poor. I doubt the marketing and awareness of the $20 entry offer plus $40 family deal is being promoted effectively enough. I've never heard it mentioned on radio or tv yet? Other than the initial annoucement prior to the start of the season.

you can't polish a turd tho & that's what Thursday nights are .. a turd
you could let people in for free & not get to 20K

I wholeheartedly agree with the weeknight scheduling is wrong
and have repeatedly stated this. However the school holidays have not been capitalized on. Weather is good and the families don't know the deal that was mentioned at the start of this season. It does have an effect. Particularly school holiday time.

ANZ is such a blight on the game. Never mind rebuilding it, knock it down and build a 30k stadium! Such a terrible look for the game.

Im waiting for Todd Greenberg to tell us just how great the game is going.

Can guarantee it will go something like:

Crowds arent really changing year on year. The new stadiums will make a big difference. It’s a balancing act between tv and fans attending. Nrl will have the biggest revenue this year ever. It’s clubs responsibility to grow their fanbases.

Repeat ad nauseum.
